Where can I find Respondus Instructions?

Respondus Lockdown Browser is a tool used by many instructors at CCBC to securely administer tests. Once it is downloaded onto your PC or Mac, you should be able to use it to access any assessments or assignments that require it.  Below are steps on where to find Respondus Instructions.

Please bear in mind that Respondus Lockdown Browser downloads are unique to each institution. Downloading Respondus Lockdown Browser from a link other than the one in the instructions document below may result in the software not working.

1. Go to the CCBC Blackboard webpage. It can be reached using the link provided or by going to the CCBC homepage (www.ccbcmd.edu), hovering over the “MyCCBC” menu in the upper right-hand corner, and clicking on “Blackboard.”

2. Use your CCBC username and password to sign in. If you do not know your CCBC username and/or password, please reference this article: What is my username and password for my CCBC email? (Students)

3. Once you login, you will be taken to the main Blackboard webpage. Click on the “Student Information” tab.

4. Click the “Student Resources” tab. It should be on the line of tabs below the one that “Student Information” was on.

5. On the right-hand side of the screen, in the block labeled “Respondus Monitor – Student Instructions,” you will find a link to a document containing instructions on the latest version of Respondus Lockdown Browser.
