How do I print to a student printer? (Students)

CCBC Student printing uses a Follow-Me print queue process.  This process allows you to send a print job to a central queue and then release the print at one of the corresponding printers on campus.  When printing, select the desired queue and then release the print when you arrive at the printer.

Follow-Me print queues

  • StudentPrinter-BlackWhite
    • Available for release on all HP black and white printers
    • Printers are located in public areas at Catonsville, Dundalk, and Essex.
  • StudentPrinter-Color
    • Only avaible for release on HP Color printers located in the Catonsville, Dundalk, and Essex Libraries
  • StudentPrinter-Copier
    • Black and white printing and copying
    • Only avaiable for release on the Konica Minolta copiers
    • Copiers are located in the Catonsville, Dundalk, and Essex Libraries
    • Only available print option at Hunt Valley room 121, Owings Mills room 606, and Randallstown front lobby.

 

Printing from a CCBC Device

  1. Log in to the computer using CCBC username and password
  2. Select print option in application printing from
  3. Choose appropriate print queue
  4. Select print
  5. At the print release station log in with CCBC username and password
  6. Select desired print
  7. Click Print/Release

Printing from a personal device (Web Print)

  1. Web print accepts the following file formats: image files (jpeg, png, bmp), PDF, Microsoft Office documents.
  2. Log in to the student print website, https://print.ccbcmd.edu, using your CCBC username and password
  3. Click Web Print from the left hand menu options
  4. Click on Submit a Job
  5. Select a printer and then click on Print Options and Account Selection
  6. Choose the number of copies you would like to have printed and then click on Upload Documents
  7. Drag and drop the files or click on Upload from Computer to browse for the files.  Click on Upload & Complete when done
  8. At the print release station log in with CCBC username and password
  9. Select desired print
  10. Click Print/Release
