How do I connect to the CCBC WiFi (Chromebook)?

CCBC is changing the way that students & employees access our WIFI networks on all campuses. Please follow the instructions below to access the appropriate WIFI network. If you have any trouble, please take a screenshot of the error and contact the CCBC Help Desk at: 443-840-4357 or

  1. Close all web browsers and apps. Click on the “Wi-Fi settings” (typically located in the bottom right corner of the taskbar).

  3. Click on “No network”. Make sure that “Wi-Fi” is turned on.

  5. Select the appropriate wireless network name.
    For students: CCBC-STUDENTS
    For faculty/staff: CCBC-EMPLOYEES

  7. At the “Join Wi-Fi Network” screen, enter the following:

    • EAP method: PEAP
    • Phase 2 authentication: MSCHAPv2
    • Server CA certificate: Do not check
    • Identity: enter your CCBC username
    • Password: enter your CCBC password
    • Make sure “Save identity and password” is checked



  9. After completing step 4, you should be connected. To check if you’re connected, click “Wi-Fi” (in the bottom right-hand corner). There should be an indicator that says “Connected to: CCBC-STUDENTS” or “Connected to: CCBC-EMPLOYEES”.
